Dartmoor: Roots in the Rugged

Dartmoor National Park isn’t just another landscape to me—it’s where my story began. These wild, wind-scoured hills were my playground as a kid, long before I ever picked up a camera. The heather underfoot, granite tors standing like ancient sentinels, skies that could swing from brilliant blue to moody gray in the blink of an eye—it all set the backdrop for my earliest adventures.

This album is a tribute to that raw, rugged beauty. It’s Dartmoor in its truest form: brooding, unpredictable, impossibly alive. You’ll see sweeping vistas bathed in fleeting shafts of sunlight, twisted oaks clinging to misty slopes, and weathered stone walls that feel like they’ve held up the sky for centuries.

But it’s more than scenery. These frames reach back into memory. Barefoot races over damp moss, chasing sheep with my friends, coming home caked in mud and joy. The grit under your nails, the cold air slicing your lungs, the unspoken promise that here—out here—you’re free to roam and dream.
